How do I get started?
Start by completing a secure online intake. A licensed provider will review your information and determine whether a consultation and next steps are appropriate.
Who provides care through Via Wellness?
All medical care is provided by licensed healthcare providers. Providers independently evaluate each patient and make all treatment decisions based on clinical judgment.
Do I need insurance?
No insurance is required. Payment options and eligibility may vary depending on the care discussed during your consultation.
Are prescriptions guaranteed?
No. Prescriptions are never guaranteed. A provider determines whether any treatment option is appropriate based on your individual evaluation.
What does weight management care involve?
Weight management consultations may include discussion of health history, lifestyle factors, nutrition, and prescription options when clinically appropriate. Care is individualized, and results vary.
Are compounded medications FDA-approved?
No. Compounded medications are not approved or evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Providers consider them only when they determine they may be appropriate.
How are prescriptions filled?
If a prescription is issued, it’s fulfilled by a licensed pharmacy in compliance with applicable laws. Pharmacy details are shared during the care process.
Is telehealth safe and secure?
Yes. Telehealth is a regulated form of healthcare delivery. Via Wellness uses secure systems to protect your personal and health information.
